Cuttlebone

Calcium is needed to help your animal grow healthy. In this case, cuttlebone is a great option to offer your isopods and millipedes, as they will devour these bones to get all the calcium they need to grow and live a healthy life.

It is very easy to use, since you just need to introduce it to your invertebrates enclosure and let them eat it. We usually split them in 6 to 8 pieces (about an inch big each) and they last two to three weeks. These are a great and cheap option to give your invertebrate a healthier life.

Another way of giving cuttlebones to your pets is by mashing these bones into smaller pieces and mix it with the substrate.
