Care at a glance
Provide an appropriately sized, secure, well-ventilated terrestrial enclosure with burrowable substrate, a hide and fresh water. Keep a portion of the substrate lightly moist without waterlogging it. Offer appropriately sized feeder insects and remove uneaten prey. Allow the exoskeleton and fangs to harden after a molt before feeding.
This species can move quickly when disturbed and is best enjoyed through observation. Routine handling is discouraged.
Photos show a CareBugs specimen and have been retouched for presentation. Color, markings and size vary with age, molt cycle and lighting; spiderlings may not yet show mature blue coloration.
